I can change it, however if it comes in again in the next update from the TPD, it will only get changed back again when that data is imported.

Maybe you can run it through the proper channels so that won't happen?

In the mean time, I will change it.

If necessary, just remind me every time until they fix it and I'll keep it updated manually.

Anon: Actually, now that you mention it, you are correct. Not sure what happened there. I thought I had updated at least through September.

I've kinda left off the database for a while. I've pretty much had my say and I'm not sure how long I want to keep updating the numbers. It's not like they are chaning drastically as time goes by.

And, frankly, my audience is dramatically smaller now since the City of Tulsa officially blocked my site as of the last day of July, 2007.

I'm surmising that is the cause. Traffic from the City of Tulsa accounted for the largest part of traffic to the site - often hundreds of hits per day. As of midnight, July 31st, 2007? None. Not a single one. ZERO.

As I see it, the only way to make that happen is that the City physically blocked it's network at the router from accessing

I could move the site to a different IP address and test if this is true, but I just don't have time at the moment.

I'm actually quite a busy guy.

Anon: This is already noted. Please click on the "Database" button (left side menu).

It says (in red):

NOTE: We have been presented with what we believe to be credible evidence that the dates associated with some of the data in the Consent Decree Database may be inaccurate.

We are not the authors or originators of the data, and we have no control over it, or the accuracy of it.

However, we warrant that the data, as presented, is an accurate representation of the data that has been published by the Tulsa Police Department.

But thank you for pointing it out. If you have some specific instances, please do contact me and tell me about them. One of the inaccuracies that I am aware of is a matter of "incompleteness." There is data that is not included because there are administrative procedures that must be followed to have it included, and these procedures have not been followed. This would include, specifically, data related to officer promotions or commendations. I know that there are promotions and commendations that are not included because I have spoken with the persons involved.
